The Lonavala Education Trust was established in 1981 to provide higher education to students in and around Lonavala who were previously deprived of it.
Founded in 1983 with just 60 students, the college later expanded in 1987 with the generous support of Dr. B. N. Purandare Trust.
The campus was further developed with contributions from Shri Babuji Gupta, and the Science department was added in 2010, operating with a 100% government grant. Today, the college proudly serves over 1,500 students.
Nestled amidst lush greenery near the old Mumbai-Pune Highway and just 2.5 km from Lonavala Station, the scenic campus provides an inspiring environment for education.
