National Seminar (Commerce 26th -28th February 2009)
A National Seminar on Creative and innovative practices in Banking, Marketing & Management Organized by the Commerce Department of Dr.B.N.Purandare Arts & S.S.G.G. Commerce College, Lonavla was both informative and edifying .The National Level Seminar was inaugurated by the chief guest Dr. B.R. Sangle (Dean of Commerce University of Pune in presence of Hon. Chief Guest, Mr. Vithal Kamat, the Trustees and other dignitaries.
Seminar – Marathi
The college organized a two day state level seminar on 'Marathi folk literature' art and culture under the quality Improvement programme in collaboration with the University of Pune. This seminar was organized on 8th and 9th Feb. 2008. It was inaugurated by Dr. Vice chancellor, University of Pune. Dr. Shivajirao Mohite Dean Arts Narendra Jadhav, Faculty, Mr. Rameshchandra Nayyar President of LET, Prin. Sanjay Mali, Dr. Manohar Jadhav HOD of Marathi ,University of Pune. graced the occasion.
Our college Dr. B.N.P.Arts & Smt S.G.G.Commece College had organized a State Level Seminar in Economics for two days on 13th & 14th Feb.2009. The topic for the seminar was "Changing Trends in Indian Agriculture" 63 participants across the state registered for this seminar, 15 of them were from the other universities other than the University of Pune.
